Travel Guide to Middle and North Andaman
Traditionally places like Havelock, 3 Islands, Neil Island, Jollybouy, etc. are visited by the tourists but some of the other beautiful places like Rangat, Mayabunder, Diglipur, and Long Island are generally not visited by almost all of the tourists visiting Andaman and Nicobar Islands due to lack of knowledge of existence of these still virgin places. The travel agencies has omitted these Islands as it’s much easier to promote and conduct tours in near by places, most of them don’t have knowledge about the places in Middle and North Andaman which makes it more difficult for these isolated places to make a mark as tourism destination, no matter how beautiful and breath taking these places are.
Every year millions of tourists visit Andaman Islands but very few of them visit places like Natural Mangrove forest at Yeratta, Long Island, Lalaji Bay Beach at Long Island, Guitar Island, Merk Bay, Amkunj Beach, Morrisdera Beach, 713 meters of Bench walk between the mangroves at Dhaninalah, Dhaninallah Beach, Turtle Nesting Point, Karmatang Beach at Mayabunder, Avis Island, Ross and Smith Island at Diglipur, Ramnagar Beach, Shyamnagar Mud Volcano, Saddle Peak, etc. the list seems like never ending. Hotel Priya International has taken initiative to promote Middle and North Andaman into the tourism industry.
